Want to make a difference? There are many ways for you to get involved during your time. All of these opportunities are open to both majors and non-majors.

Annual Programming Contest

The department sponsors an annual programming contest. Begun in the spring of 1990, the contest is open to all University students. Contestants have a few hours to solve a series of programming challenges. The winner is recognized at the annual University awards assembly, and the top three contestants generally receive a cash prize.

Intercollegiate Programming Contest Team

The department also participates in intercollegiate programming contests. Interested students should see Dr. Knisely or Dr. McGee for details.

Lab Assistant

Work as a lab assistant. Help your fellow students! See Dr. Hughes for details.
