Programming Contest

When: Saturday, March 9, 2024, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Where: BJU Computer Science Lab, Mack Building
What:  Write programs to solve a variety of problems.
Who:

All currently enrolled BJU undergraduate students are eligible to enter, regardless of major.
High school students may also participate provided they solve a qualifying problem. Contact Dr. Knisely (jknisely@bju.edu) for more information.

Afterwards:

Join us for lunch after the contest is over. Also, people from some of the sponsoring companies may be available to talk with students about internship and employment opportunities. 

Prizes:

$350 - First place; $200 - Second place; $100 - Third place
Rookies (first time in our contest): $50 - First place; $25 - Second place 
Each person who solves a problem will receive a free rubber duck (for use in rubber duck debugging).

Please review the contest rules, and sign up for the contest by Wednesday, March 6. You may work on some practice problems in the BJU Contest Practice Environment.

A help session will be held on the morning of the contest at 8:00 a.m. for students who have not participated in our contest before. We strongly encourage new students to attend. Returning students are also welcome at this session.
