An introduction to programming using a high-level language. An emphasis on problem solving with structured techniques and use of objects. Development of problem-solving skills through programming exercises. Not applicable toward a Computer Science major or minor. Lecture and lab. Prerequisites: Ma ACT 20+, SAT 55+, Ma 090 or Ma 103 - 3 credits
